2012-07-18usb_storage: fix ehci driver max transfer sizeStefan Herbrechtsmeier
The commit 5dd95cf93dfffa1d19a1928990852aac9f55b9d9 'usb_storage: Fix EHCI "out of buffer pointers" with CD-ROM' introduce a bug in usb_storage as it wrongly assumes that every transfer can use 4096 bytes per qt_buffer. This is wrong if the start address of the data is not page aligned to 4096 bytes and leads to 'EHCI timed out on TD' messages because of 'out of buffer pointers' in ehci_td_buffer function. The bug appears during load of a fragmented file and read from or write to an unaligned memory address. Make the menu timeout apply only when prompt flag is set and after the menu is displayed. This allows auto boot to work no matter whether prompt is set or cleared. Use the default selection if the menu times out. This also fixes the timeout value given to readline_into_buffer to be seconds instead of 10th of seconds. Commit 418396e212b59bf907dbccad997ff50f7eb61b16 introduced a bug that causes nand read and nand write to crash in strcmp due to a null pointer. Root cause is that strchr(cmd, '.') returns a null pointer when the input string does not contain a '.' The strcmp function does not check for null pointers, resulting in a crash. When boot from SRIO, slave's ENV can be stored in master's memory space, then slave can fetch the ENV through SRIO interface. NOTE: Because the slave can not erase, write master's NOR flash by SRIO interface, so it can not modify the ENV parameters stored in master's NOR flash using "saveenv" or other commands. Master needs to: 1. Put the slave's ENV into it's own memory space. 2. Set an inbound SRIO window covered slave's ENV stored in master's memory space. Slave needs to: 1. Set a specific TLB entry in order to fetch ucode and ENV from master. 2. Set a LAW entry with the TargetID SRIO1 or SRIO2 for ucode and ENV.
