What shared object to use, kernel selects depending on result of

ILP32 has context-related structures different from both aarch32 and
aarch64/lp64. In this patch compat_arch_ptrace() renamed to
compat_a32_ptrace(), and compat_arch_ptrace() only makes choice between
compat_a32_ptrace() and new compat_ilp32_ptrace() handler.
compat_ilp32_ptrace() calls generic compat_ptrace_request() for all
requests except PTRACE_GETSIGMASK and PTRACE_SETSIGMASK, which need
special handling.

ILP32 uses AARCH32 compat structures and syscall handlers for signals.
But ILP32 struct rt_sigframe and ucontext differs from both LP64 and

Based on patch of Andrew Pinski.
This patch introduces is_a32_compat_task and is_a32_thread so it is
easier to say this is a a32 specific thread or a generic compat thread/task.
Corresponding functions are located in <asm/is_compat.h> to avoid mess in
headers.
Some files include both <linux/compat.h> and <asm/compat.h>,
and this is wrong because <linux/compat.h> has <asm/compat.h> already

In this patchset ILP32 ABI support is added. Additionally to AARCH32,
which is binary-compatible with ARM, ILP32 is (mostly) ABI-compatible.
From now, AARCH32_EL0 (former COMPAT) config option means the support of
AARCH32 userspace, and ARM64_ILP32 - support of ILP32 ABI (see following
patches), and COMPAT indicates that one of them or both is enabled.
Where needed, CONFIG_COMPAT is changed over to use CONFIG_AARCH32_EL0 instead

The newer prlimit64 syscall provides all the functionality provided by
the getrlimit and setrlimit syscalls and adds the pid of target process,
so future architectures won't need to include getrlimit and setrlimit.
Therefore drop getrlimit and setrlimit syscalls from the generic syscall
list unless __ARCH_WANT_SET_GET_RLIMIT is defined by the architecture's
unistd.h prior to including asm-generic/unistd.h, and adjust all architectures
using the generic syscall list to define it so that no in-tree architectures
are affected.

All new 32-bit architectures should have 64-bit userspace off_t type, but
existing architectures has 32-bit ones.
To handle it, new config option is added to arch/Kconfig that defaults
ARCH_32BIT_OFF_T to be disabled for non-64 bit architectures. All existing
32-bit architectures enable it explicitly here.
New option affects force_o_largefile() behaviour. Namely, if userspace off_t
is 64-bits long, we have no reason to reject user to open big files.
Note that even if architectures has only 64-bit off_t in the kernel
(arc, c6x, h8300, hexagon, metag, nios2, openrisc, tile32 and unicore32),
a libc may use 32-bit off_t, and therefore want to limit the file size
to 4GB unless specified differently in the open flags.

compat_ptrace_request() lacks handlers for PTRACE_{G,S}ETSIGMASK,
instead using those in ptrace_request(). The compat variant should
read a compat_sigset_t from userspace instead of ptrace_request()s
sigset_t.
While compat_sigset_t is the same size as sigset_t, it is defined as
2xu32, instead of a single u64. On a big-endian CPU this means that
compat_sigset_t is passed to user-space using middle-endianness,
where the least-significant u32 is written most significant byte
first.
If ptrace_request()s code is used userspace will read the most
significant u32 where it expected the least significant.
Instead of duplicating ptrace_request()s code as a special case in
the arch code, handle it here.

ILP32 support uses the same struct sigcontext as the native ABI (i.e.,
LP64), but a different layout for the rest of the signal frame (since
siginfo_t and ucontext_t are both ABI-dependent).
Since the purpose of parse_user_sigframe() is really to parse sigcontext
and not the whole signal frame, the function does not need to depend
on the layout of rt_sigframe -- the only purpose of the rt_sigframe
pointer is for use as a base to measure the signal frame size.
So, this patch renames the function to make it clear that only the
sigcontext is really being parsed, and makes the sigframe base pointer
generic. A macro is defined to provide a suitable duck-typed interface
that can be used with both sigframe definitions.

[ Upstream commit 484d802d0f2f29c335563fcac2a8facf174a1bbc ]
There is no need for complex checking between the last consumed index
and current consumed index, a simple subtraction will do.
This also eliminates the possibility of a permanent transmit queue stall
under the following conditions:
- one CPU bursts ring->size worth of traffic (up to 256 buffers), to the
point where we run out of free descriptors, so we stop the transmit
queue at the end of bcm_sysport_xmit()
- because of our locking, we have the transmit process disable
interrupts which means we can be blocking the TX reclamation process
- when TX reclamation finally runs, we will be computing the difference
between ring->c_index (last consumed index by SW) and what the HW
reports through its register
- this register is masked with (ring->size - 1) = 0xff, which will lead
to stripping the upper bits of the index (register is 16-bits wide)
- we will be computing last_tx_cn as 0, which means there is no work to
be done, and we never wake-up the transmit queue, leaving it
permanently disabled
A practical example is e.g: ring->c_index aka last_c_index = 12, we
pushed 256 entries, HW consumer index = 268, we mask it with 0xff = 12,
so last_tx_cn == 0, nothing happens.

Fix the following slab-out-of-bounds kasan report in
ndisc_fill_redirect_hdr_option when the incoming ipv6 packet is not
linear and the accessed data are not in the linear data region of orig_skb.

[ 1503.159964] Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint
The test scenario to trigger the issue consists of 4 devices:
- H0: data sender, connected to LAN0
- H1: data receiver, connected to LAN1
- GW0 and GW1: routers between LAN0 and LAN1. Both of them have an
ethernet connection on LAN0 and LAN1
On H{0,1} set GW0 as default gateway while on GW0 set GW1 as next hop for
data from LAN0 to LAN1.
Moreover create an ip6ip6 tunnel between H0 and H1 and send 3 concurrent
data streams (TCP/UDP/SCTP) from H0 to H1 through ip6ip6 tunnel (send
buffer size is set to 16K). While data streams are active flush the route
cache on HA multiple times.
I have not been able to identify a given commit that introduced the issue
since, using the reproducer described above, the kasan report has been
triggered from 4.14 and I have not gone back further.

[ Upstream commit 67f93df79aeefc3add4e4b31a752600f834236e2 ]
dccp_disconnect() sets 'dp->dccps_hc_tx_ccid' tx handler to NULL,
therefore if DCCP socket is disconnected and dccp_sendmsg() is
called after it, it will cause a NULL pointer dereference in
dccp_write_xmit().
This crash and the reproducer was reported by syzbot. Looks like
it is reproduced if commit 69c64866ce07 ("dccp: CVE-2017-8824:
use-after-free in DCCP code") is applied.

[ Upstream commit a6c3d93963e4b333c764fde69802c3ea9eaa9d5c ]
When the IRQ handler determines that one of the cmd IO channels has
failed and schedules recovery, block any further cmd requests from
being submitted. The request would inevitably stall, and prevent the
recovery from making progress until the request times out.
This sort of error was observed after Live Guest Relocation, where
the pending IO on the READ channel intentionally gets terminated to
kick-start recovery. Simultaneously the guest executed SIOCETHTOOL,
triggering qeth to issue a QUERY CARD INFO command. The command
then stalled in the inoperabel WRITE channel.

For calling ccw_device_start(), issue_next_read() needs to hold the
device's ccwlock.
This is satisfied for the IRQ handler path (where qeth_irq() gets called
under the ccwlock), but we need explicit locking for the initial call by
the MPC initialization.
